Bangkok at night
We recently went to Thailand for a holiday. We started in Bangkok, where we stayed in a hotel called the Majestic Grande for a couple of days to show my parents around (mum is 83 and dad is 85).

Nana Plaza, near our hotel, is very lively at night. This first picture of is of a well-wishing tree which will be given to someone who has just started up a new business in the complex.
Scenes of night life: a street food stand
The food proved to be excellent
and child flower sellers
Last year we had seen one elephant there and this year there were 3! I thoroughly disapproved of them being there - town is no place for a wild animal so I did not take any photos of them as I do not wish to encourage this exploitation of them.
Here are tales of travels of the artistic mind and physical body
